Write an Article for CreativeFan
If you’re interested in writing an article for us, here’s the benefits and the requirements.
Benefits:
- Your article will be featured for our entire community to see.
- You can promote your own portfolio, website, or project in the Author Information section at the end of each post, along with your biography. Free publicity is great, isn’t it?
- You’ll be giving back to the community.
Requirements:
- The article must be written in English.
- The article must be professional and have minimal typographical/grammatical mistakes. Minor mistakes will be fixed by our staff. Poorly written articles will be rejected.
- The article must match the quality of other posts on the site.
- The article must have at least some images. Generally speaking, more is better.
- Your author information cannot promote any questionable material. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Warez, Pornography, Racist or Hate Websites, Criminal Activities.
- The article must be appropriate for any demographic. While the human body is often a central figure of design, err to the side of caution for any art that might be considered explicit.
- The article must relate to one of the following topics: Art, Design, Music, Audio, Video, Photography, Programming, Web, Blogging, Wallpapers, Productivity Tools. These are the primary categories we use. If you are unsure, get in contact with us and we’ll reply right away.
Write a Tutorial for CreativeFan
We love to publish tutorials. Each of our sites in our network relates to a certain field. For example, Design.CreativeFan aims to publish high quality graphic design tutorials. If you are skilled in a specific field, and would like to write a tutorial, here are the benefits and requirements:

- You’ll earn money for each tutorial (amount is negotiable depending on difficulty, length and quality of work).
- Your tutorial will be featured for our entire community to see.
- You can promote your own portfolio, website, or project in the Author Information section at the end of each post, along with your biography. Free publicity is great, isn’t it?
- You’ll be giving back to the community.
Requirements:
- The tutorial must be written in English.
- You must have a PayPal account in order for us to pay you.
- The tutorial must feature a unique technique, with a high quality finished product. When accepting a tutorial, we hold the final product in high importance.
- The tutorial cannot be be published anywhere else, and must not be republished at any point in the future.
- The tutorial cannot resemble techniques from other tutorials around the internet. Naturally, some tutorials use similar techniques. Tutorials that seem ‘ripped’, however, will be rejected.
- The article must be professional and have minimal typographical/grammatical mistakes. Minor mistakes will be fixed by our staff. Poorly written articles will be rejected.
- The tutorial must match the quality of other posts on the site.
- The tutorial must have step-by-step directions accompanied by images demonstrating the technique.
- Your author information cannot promote any questionable material. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Warez, Pornography, Racist or Hate Websites, Criminal Activities.
- The tutorial must be appropriate for any demographic. While the human body is often a central figure of design, err to the side of caution for any art that might be considered explicit.
- The tutorial must relate to the topic for the specific site.
Submission and Feedback
Still interested? Excellent! Use the form below to pitch your article or tutorial so we can let you know if it’s what we’re looking for. If you have a finished article or tutorial, take the following steps:
- Zip up all tutorial files (HTML post, images, any additional material).
- Send an email to admin@creativefan.com with your name, email, author information and website, along with a photograph of yourself (if desired). If you are writing a tutorial, include your PayPal email address.
- We will reply with confirmation, and we will notify you when the post goes live. Payments for tutorials will be made on the 2nd of each month after publishing. Note that there may be a delay between submission and publishing, and payments are made after publishing, not submission.
